What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
Miro feels like a light weight application and runs pretty well on any browser. Its fast and easy to learn. You would hardly require a tutorial to learn to use this app. 5-10 minutes would be enough to get started.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Wide range of templates and strong community. It makes our life easier when you start with a template rather than a blank canvas. Specially for creating stuff like mind maps and storyboarding. Its very easy to host a live moderated brain storming session with their collaboration feature.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Whenever i export a long image (for example : Information architecture of an application OR Mind map for a feature) . The image is not that legible on a powerpoint deck. I believe this is a common problem amongst most white boarding tools as well Hoping Miro finds a way to crack this :)
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A way to have version maintenance and history tracking ? Specially when you have multiple stakeholders collaborating over a same miro board which keeps growing. It becomes really hard to track changes and undo them. As a designer i have wasted several hours having to undo something which some random guy messed up
