The business issue it addresses is that it gives everyone in the group an obvious perspective on what the issue is and how to track and it additionally gives another perspective on the means required to understand the issue.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't have anything starting at now which I detest, will refresh on the off chance that I discover any.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would effortlessly prescribe JIRA to anybody as the way toward making an issue and adding ancient rarities to the issue like screen captures, screen-recording, and text documents is liquid. Jira integrations make illusion it is full ALM

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
Jira is great at issue management and task management. Very customizable and user friendly. It lacks mature solutions to development process management across phases. It counts on product integration to other tools to complete these voids and this is costly in IT and additional licenses. Even basic functionality that is included in training requires purchasing additional plug-in or app.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Jira is great at issue management and task management. Very customizable and user friendly. Versitile in workflow management.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It gives the illusion it is full featured for development across all phases because of it's integration options. It lacks requirements management, documentation management, test management. It is critical that these integrate well and it is difficult to find a mature solution. The onus is on the vendor selection process to not only look at Jira but a vast set of integration options. Very time consuming and high risk. One mature solution for all phases is best, and Jira is not it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't be fooled about the Jira depth of functionality. The vendor selection work only starts if you pick Jira,, ie you have to pick many other tools to meet the typical needs for the development of a product. Remember, development starts with requirements and ends with test. Issue management is only the middle piece.
Pros
- Reliable
- Security Protects
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service
Cons
- Leverages Incumbent Status
- Inhibits Innovation
- Slower Product Innovation
