What differentiates Autodesk Revit BIM from other similar products?
It has multiple features as per Architecture, structure, MEPF Disciplines. we can create schedules, filters, materials, 2D detail layouts very easily and efficiently. along with the 3D graphical information revit gives options to add non geometric information to project model. Also revit has options to create parametric families which saves time of repetitive modeling. Revit Collaboration features allows multiple users to work on same project at same times. Its forum community is very big and supportive.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Most useful feature is Its cloud collaboration. Multiple architectures and engineers can work on same project simultaneously from different locations. Also revit can be integrated with multiple autodesk software.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Its pricing is very high and does not allow to downgrade any file.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for the software for BIM 3D modeling then the revit is best option.

It is the standard in my region for BIM software. That sets it apart simply by being the most prevelant.

Revit features a robust system that is open to customization.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Revit is not simple or intuitive to use for the layman; it requires instruction and experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is the industry standard for a reason. It is robust; tried and true. Many add-ons are also available to reach many different trades within the AEC industry that make Revit a viable primary software.
