What differentiates Ataccama ONE Platform from other similar products?

Ataccama provides different functionalities in data management and it's the main difference from similar products, being that it has the perfect tools to manage different types of a business' data, and it has an attractive platform that is easy to use and implement into our business.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We use Ataccama to manage our master data which is very important for us as a business. It helps us gather this information and organize it in different units so that we make sure that all the data is coordinated across all our departments. Ataccama is a powerful solution that keeps improving and helps us keep all our data up to date and have said data ready for when we need to use it for certain projects, or for partnering with other businesses. Ataccama holds all our crucial data and one of my favorite aspects is the workflow implementation to make the data management more easy approving changes, editing and more.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have experienced Ataccama slowing down when working with big data, which is the only thing I dislike about it and have reached out to their technical support for this. Also, this is not really a dislike with the software, but I would like more integrations added to manage data in a more powerful way.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ataccama is easy to deploy since the beginning and it comes with great guides to get started with the product, I also find valuable the fact that you can import your data from any origin and integrate it with your current data in Ataccama. I find that master data management is not something that people tend to manage very well often because of the lack of good tools that help them have total data governance, but Ataccama is one tool that has helped us achieve that.

What differentiates Ataccama ONE Platform from other similar products?

Great community and exhaustive documentation.The community, in my opinion is very vibrant and is quite supportive of new users.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One stop shop for MDM, as well as Data Quality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, it takes considerable amount of time to customize it as per our needs. Our work at Bank needed lots of customization, and that caused slowness in Ataccama one time to time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ataccama One is a great product for Master Data Management. It is a one stop shop for following functionality; MDM, Data Quality, as well as governance.
