Quest On Demand has added two new features to help organizations further streamline Office 365 management and potentially reduce costs.

Veeam announced Backup for Microsoft Office 365 Version 3 on April 2, 2019. Office 365 has been a top cloud migration project for many and is the logical place for backup providers to extend cloud functionality.

Backup of cloud data (as opposed to backup of data to the cloud) is a major trend as more corporate workloads and data move there. Veeam’s 2018 earnings reflect this trend.

According to a recent survey by data backup and management company Commvault, IT departments are not ready to lead digital transformation. I think a major impediment is in how IT departments, especially infrastructure managers, view data.
