What differentiates OnCourse SIS from other similar products?

My favorite aspect of OnCourse is the consistency it offers. Scheduled meetings are neatly displayed on the calendar, and uniformity allows for fast reading.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy using OnCourse as a one-stop shop for my class plans and evaluations. It’s streamlined because I can review my pre-observation questions, submit answers, and view feedback all on the same platform where I can also view and update my plans. When it comes to lesson planning, I frequently use the “unit plan” feature, which allows me to tag lessons multiple times and refer back to earlier plans. It’s convenient for me to communicate my plans via “Sharing.” I don’t use the “bump plans” option very often, but it’s nice to know I can if I need to.

What do you dislike most about this product?

OnCourse Learning has been extremely challenging and frustrating. It appears that they have not worked out many of the kinks in their software, and there are many far more efficient methods to perform many of the services provided by their system.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The ease of use is fantastic, as is the ability to make a template for future use. It takes some getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, the software is very simple and convenient to use! I like how basic and straightforward the program is. Once you know where to search for the menu, the grade book is fairly simple to use. It is extremely simple to copy homework from one class to another.
