It is a new product, but it has gained in popularity rapidly because of the high quality of protection it offers at a low price. Asset security and disaster relief are its most vital points. Archiving electronic correspondence, data, and communications is a breeze using Mimecast. It also serves its purpose effectively when used to back up databases.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Mimecast enables affordable and straightforward message archiving, which is crucial in the healthcare industry. The Mimecast cloud archive is a must-have for any severe cloud user and is excellent for backing up cloud instances, databases, and documents. The option to read a previously archived email in-browser without first downloading it is a great plus. Since there's always the chance of data loss during the transition, having Mimecast EIA may put my mind at ease.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you remove an email from Outlook but have it stored in Mimecast, you won't realize it's missing until you go through the archive and see that it's marked. Your email server may sometimes filter out unwanted messages. When searching, emails will not appear in their original format unless you click on them and request that they be formatted appropriately.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Effective database backup is another feature of these systems. It takes relatively little effort to synchronize and restore information from cold storage. Controlled access has several valuable characteristics, including compliance and monitoring. Additionally, the retrieval of papers and their expiry dates are tightly regulated. The cost of maintaining extra server space and archival storage space is reduced. Recommended.

If you can't discover critical emails on Exchange after the move, you may access them through Mimecast's archive. The Mimecast Cloud Archive is a great backup option for many different types of data, including but not limited to cloud instances, databases, and documents. Files in cold storage may be synchronized and retrieved without any hassle.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We value Mimecast for the many issues it resolves and the various services it offers. Mimecast excels in all aspects of email management, including security, archiving, search, and customer service. Users cannot permanently delete emails, which is excellent for E-discovery purposes. The search option is one of our favorite aspects. Mimecast's archiving service is ideal for businesses running out of room in their mailboxes since it provides infinite storage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is a need for improvement in the Admin panel's search interface. There should be an option to adjust the default search time of 1 year in the Outlook Plugin. It took me some getting used to the platform before I could tell the difference between permanent and temporary deletion and the other alternatives. At times, the system's performance lags.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We use Mimecast to store and search through past correspondence to safeguard our business from spam and malicious emails. The entire firm relies on it to keep sensitive information safe. It deals with securing our communications and preserving the integrity of our network. As a crucial part of a disaster recovery or remote work strategy, Mimecast is an invaluable tool.
