What differentiates Blackboard Learn from other similar products?
Blackboard is easily accessible across all media platforms, so checking in on items or attending training while traveling is seamless. The GUI is visually appealing, depending on which module you are in.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The accessibility is the best feature; being able to have an integrated p0latform makes hitting deliverables simple.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The goals don’t differentiate between “Available to do” and “Required to do”, this can make completion progress unclear. The availability of supporting documents and other helpful material is lackluster as well (users usually just have to have multiple tabs or sessions running in separate windows)
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is simple to load required items and users can enter and work through their “To Do’s”, also it's pretty much 100% externally serviced so there is no setup. The user experience is not the greatest, but it is also not bad. Tracking mandatory items vs. supplemental can be a little gray, but all in all, it is a good solution that’s cost-effective.
Pros
- Transparent
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
Cons
- Less Productive
- Commodity Features
- Under Delivered
