What differentiates Act-On from other similar products?
Their customer service and training. So many platforms rely too much on videos or non-personal interactions and Act-On is the right balance that consistently goes above and beyond to make us successful in all that we do.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The training hands down. The options and opportunities allowed our staff to ease into the product while not becoming overwhelming etc. The human interactions and real world examples really make them one of the best tools on the market.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Aside from some functionality very specific to our needs, the solution doesn't have much to dislike.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Compare the service and training offerings and consider your staff's skill level and understanding of these types of solutions. It doesn't take an engineer to use like some platforms on the market.

What differentiates Act-On from other similar products?
My clients and I use it for a range of different reasons and that's what is so great about Act-On! From the initial implementation of lead scoring and web forms for gated content, it significantly helps support our demand gen efforts. Data is easy to manage and form-fill alerts are quick to set up, meaning that my clients are notified of all opportunities and results. The drag-and-drop email builder is very easy to use and with templates and duplication features, it's quick to get going with repeat or similar campaigns in the future. The support team is also very responsive and proactive.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Act-On makes most of our MarTech tasks faster and automated, which saves us time. At a marketing agency that bills on an hourly rate, that is really helpful, because it means we can achieve results in less time and clients pay less for those results. It's a win-win situation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The tracking tools in Act-On can be useful as it shows when users have clicked emails and viewed media that was linked in emails, but like most marketing automation platforms, sometimes these can be spam filter opens/views.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're taking your first step into marketing automation, just take the leap with Act-On. It gives you everything you need and even if you do get stuck, their support team are excellent and will help you find a solution.
