Kaspersky Internet Security is powerful security suite with a highly acclaimed antivirus system. The installation is quick and easy and the program runs exceptionally smooth, never taking away too much system resources.

The user interface is split up into the four categories Anti-Malware, System Security, Online Security and Content Filtering. By default setting, the software system will close all vulnerabilities to intrusion. Very little action is required, perfect for the new user.

Included is a good anti-spam filter that I was able to install on Microsoft Outlook. This was mediocre to good, as it filtered a little too much and often I was clicking the Not Spam button for several legit messages in my inbox.

The one thing that really sets this apart from the rest is the excellent antivirus engine. Kaspersky is a very intelligent system that can save you loads of time. You can set it to scan and then restart or shut down your computer after. This is great if you want to start the scan and do something else. Also, it does not need to re-scan previously scanned items if they were not changed. This means the system can scan all of your files quickly each time, there is no need for a full system scan each time.
