What differentiates Optimizely Web Experimentation from other similar products?

Best features in market, great vendor relationship and worked really effectively with our constantly evolving tech stack

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Probably the feature set and how easy it was to use

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing really, we have already renewed once and likely will do so again.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Listen to them when they say you are ready or not ready for a particular feature. We thought we were ready but Optimizely told us to hold off. We didn't listen and we discovered we weren't ready.

  • Enables Productivity
  • Saves Time
  • Client's Interest First
  • Generous Negotitation

Good product for Non-Adobe Enterprises

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Optimizely Web Experimentation from other similar products?

Optimizely is different from other products in that it is the easiest to use and most advanced of all stand alone (non adobe) tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is very easy to use and the breadth and depth of offered training is top notch.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have seen it really mess up experiences on SPA pages which is alarming and potentially a deal breaker.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a very good tool for simple to medium difficulty changes (copy to moving/changing form fields). I would say for a multi page test or the addition of a complicated on-page feature (perhaps something like a new payment processor or a calculator) you would want to develop those in-house. It is important to note for this tool (and your company a/b testing program) to reach full potential that you link this product to your CDP or similar for deeper insights and targeting.
